My first contact with the world of graphic design was very long ago. I was only five when I sat down to check out my father’s 386 computer, which was new at that time. My original dream was to be a pilot, but instead of making paper airplanes, I set about playing with clip-art images of aircraft and planes in CorelDraw 3.
Over time, Dragon Ball and Super Mario were responsible for transforming my dream of aviation into a new dream. A large part of my childhood and adolescence was devoted to drawing comics and illustrations of my favorite characters from drawings and video games.
At age 22, I graduated from the College of Art of the Principality of Asturias (ESAPA) with a major in Graphic Design. Before I finished, I already had a job as a designer and illustrator for a large game export company. At the same time, I began taking on freelance design and illustration projects for microstock agencies.
During those years, I learned an infinite number of things and acquired vast experience, while my passion for design and illustration only grew stronger. It was then that I realized that the time had come to take the next step, to dive in to what would be my most ambitious project yet: my own design and illustration studio, TheToonPlanet.
